Blogging in 2018

I think we can clearly say that in 2018 blogging/being an influencer is a legit job. More and more people start a blog, an Instagram page and their own little space on the Internet. Even though it's becoming a job for many people, everyone can start one and it completely depends on you what you will achieve with it. Some only blog out of hobby but there are a few us who wish this to be their full-time job.

Is it still an option to become a full-time blogger? Or small authors can just quit their dreams and accept that now every brand automatically rejects you if you don't have at least 10k followers?! And what about the follow-unfollow strategy? or the big accounts who bought their following which in this situation kind of means that also their success. Is it OK?

: Sometimes I feel like there is nothing I can do to expand my following and nothing that I can do to make brands look at me because I only have 1k followers. But then I think about all the great engagement rates on my Instagram, all the visitors that come to my blog and feel proud.: I have one thing to say to brands: Following is not everything. Smaller bloggers sometimes perform better on Instagram because they can be still relatable and can respond to their followers. I always think someone can attract more and more people if they are like a friend to their readers/followers. I always wanted my blog to be like that. About sponsored posts, well most bloggers try to stick to brands they love but there are some who write about everything and anything just for the money. It's really up to you who you trust but in the past year, I tend to stick to "smaller" bloggers. I find them more genuine and if I tweet them most of the time they are friendly and they will talk to you.
