Fully Promoted Says 2017 Sales Are Into Nine Figures

Preliminary results show that Top 40 distributor Fully Promoted (asi/384000) increased revenue to more than $100 million in 2017, company executives told Counselor. Finalized numbers will be available later during 2018’s first quarter, but leaders at the franchise firm said early figures indicate 11% year-over-year sales growth.

Joe Loch, president of Fully Promoted, said that franchisees were able to drive growth, in part, through the expanded service offerings the company has made available to clients. These include enhanced printed marketing materials, online marketing campaigns, lead generation services, social media programs and more in addition to Fully Promoted’s primary channels of branded apparel and promotional products.

In addition, franchisees reported that rebranding from the former name of EmbroidMe to Fully Promoted helped spur sales, Loch said. He pointed to one Wisconsin store – Fully Promoted franchises operate as storefront locations – that increased sales 45% last year. “The owner attributed a large part of the success to the rebrand,” said Loch, noting same-store sales growth was strong across Fully Promoted locations. “He was able to relaunch his business under the new name and offer new services.”

Fully Promoted has more than 200 franchises in the United States. The tally climbs to more than 350 when franchisees in countries like Canada, Australia, Mexico and others are counted. In 2017, Fully Promoted added 32 owners – some totally new locations, others that involved new owners buying existing locations, Loch said. In 2018, he said, Fully Promoted hopes to open about another 50 stores. “It’s difficult to project specific numbers at this point, but we are again expecting double-digit sales growth this year,” Loch told Counselor.

Fully Promoted ranks 18th on Counselor’s latest list With reported 2016 North American promotional product revenue of $95.2 million,  of the largest distributors in the industry. Launched in the year 2000 as EmbroidMe, Fully Promoted is part of the United Franchise Group family of companies, which is comprised of more than 1,400 franchise locations in over 80 countries.
